Denver Democratic Convention

The last time the Democratic convention was held in Denver was a century ago,1908. Apache Indians were congregated at the station as greeters. Loads of snow from the mountains were piled around the train station.

With whiskey as a catalyst, a massive snow ball fight ensued and some of our visitors ended up in the hoochie.

William Jennings Bryan won the nomination again (1896,1900,1908) and failed to win again as Taft was elected President. Bryan, from Nebraska, was best remembered as a thunderous orator.
